To keep the quality of studies high, create an attractive environment for the students where they feel good studying and participating in leisure activities we must always renew our research facility, form a strong team of lecturers, enhance the infrastructure, coordinate interesting leisure activities also form and nurture dialogue with students.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

With these reasons in mind, Kaunas University of Applied Sciences gives immense attention to listening to students acknowledging their desires and ideas. This helps identify spheres that could use some improvement, notice what is important to the students, and weigh their expectations. To encourage students to actively participate in feedback there is a topic named \u201cYou said, we did!\u201d on the web page of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences where all the community members can access information about the requests made by students, the insights that have been shared also how it was reacted to the information provided.<\/span><\/p>\n

Not only is it important to listen to students it is also important to react to their observations\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>One of the measures used to listen to the observations of students is the annual survey conducted by the Management and Quality Unit of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences. These surveys are of big importance \/ very important when pinpointing the needs of students, understanding their opinion on different study subjects\/modules the quality of material provided also the quality of lecturing and reacting with the observations provided. In addition, a system that allows students to observe the results of the surveys conducted has been recently added to the Study Management System.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Director of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Paulius Baltru\u0161aitis opens up about how the University is always seeking measures to encourage students to actively participate in providing feedback because this is a key factor in staying appealing to new-coming students.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe feedback from students is very important. We aim that the students of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences are heard, feel comfortable in providing feedback and are included in the community life. This is impossible to accomplish if we do not listen and encourage dialogues with them.\u201d Paulius Baltru\u0161aitis adds that it is very important not just to listen but also to react to the things said by students.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTo hear the opinion of students is just the first step. When obtaining feedback we have to react accordingly, find ways that could help solutions come into force. We post information on our web page about how we reacted, what we did so that the students of Kaunas University of Applied Sciences could see what is being done to improve their study quality.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn the years studying in Kaunas University of Applied Sciences, I have noticed that collaboration with the administration can enforce positive changes in the community. Employees are always keen on trying to make the students’ experience of both studying and enjoying leisure activities as pleasant as possible.\u201d Samanta Dagyt\u0117 also states that witnessing responsible divisions and staff members react to stated observations encourages her to keep collaborating and representing the interests of students.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic proved that concerns and inquiries raised by students are resolved quickly. The effort is put into resolving issues and providing feedback to students. The changes that are being made give great motivation to continue sharing thoughts and ideas.\u201d She adds that she also participates in conducted surveys and notices that other students feel motivated to provide feedback when solutions to previously raised concerns are given.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
