[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The twelfth Kaunas University of Applied Sciences International Week, entitled \u201cCollaboration for Future: from Technology to Person\u201d <\/strong>will be held online from March 29th<\/sup> to April 2nd<\/sup><\/strong>. The event will bring the academic community and representatives of the business world back together again, so register for the event until March<\/strong> 18th <\/sup><\/strong>and do not miss the opportunity to participate in the event, attend workshops and develop and strengthen international relations. Since the International Week is getting closer we would like to invite you to meet the first participants of the event.<\/p>\n

Discussion \u201cInnovation Leadership\u201d

\"\"<\/a>Justina Klyvien\u0117<\/strong>, a participant in the \u201cInnovation Leadership\u201d<\/strong> discussion, is the founder of the \u201cFuture Leadership\u201d<\/strong> innovation laboratory and a co-founder of the \u201cAlter State\u201d.<\/strong> These are platforms that encourage women to participate in innovation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will discuss innovation leadership<\/strong>, the role of leaders in it<\/strong>, the levels of innovation leadership<\/strong>, how extremely important it is to start building everything from ourselves as an innovators and only then think about the team and the whole organization. I will touch on qualities<\/strong> that I think are important to every innovator<\/strong>, such as the ability to see the world at a 360-degree angle, to be empathetic and creative. Also, I will share the significance of leadership for the promotion of innovations or, conversely, for stopping,\u201d says J. Klyvien\u0117.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow it doesn’t matter where in the world you live – everyone is talking about innovation and the need for it. During the discussion, we will review universal skills, I will share my experience as a person working and innovating on a daily basis, so it can be relevant and interesting for everyone,\u201d J. \"\"<\/a>The presentation \u201c<\/strong>AI Adoption: Still Too Early or Already Too Late<\/strong>\u201d<\/strong> will be delivered by Prof. Tomas Krilavi\u010dius<\/strong> –<\/strong> Dean of the Faculty of Informatics of Vytautas Magnus University.<\/strong> His research topics are<\/strong> applications of artificial intelligence, language technologies, and scientific infrastructures<\/strong>. Prof. T. Krilavi\u010dius is a member of the Information Technology Section of the NATO Science and Technology Organization (NATO STO IST), a member of the Lithuanian Artificial Intelligence Association.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the presentation will be introduced the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence – the benefits and risks, the correspondence of wishes to reality,\u201d says Prof. T. Krilavi\u010dius and also reveals that the topic of artificial intelligence is currently relevant not only in Lithuania. \u201cThe problem is relevant all over the world, the whole world is solving the problem of how and where to successfully apply artificial intelligence solutions.\u201d<\/p>\n
